Bob Hughes has been promoted to NACS senior vice president of supplier relations, expositions and meetings.

Hughes joined NACS nearly 25 years ago as a director of expositions and since then NACS has considerably enhanced its supplier relations engagement opportunities and added to its meetings and events portfolio.

On the supplier side, Hughes has led the continued engagement of NACS’ 1,8000 supplier members, with a particular focus on cultivating the Hunter Club. On the events side, his team has continued to build out the elements that make the NACS Show one of the Top 50 tradeshows by expo size in the country. The team has put similar dedication into world-class execution for our growing portfolio of events and meetings.

“This promotion reflects the trust Bob’s built across our industry, and the importance of our supplier partners,” said NACS President & CEO Frank Gleeson. “We have an ambitious set of objectives moving forward in growing the NACS Show and overall member engagement, and I am excited about how Bob and his team will continue to elevate the NACS offer to the benefit of our industry.”

Hughes earned a NACS Master of Convenience and is a graduate of the NACS Executive Leadership Program at Cornell, the NACS Financial Leadership Program at Wharton, the NACS Innovation Leadership Program at MIT and NACS Marketing Leadership Program at Kellogg. He earned a B.A. from George Mason University.
